I was pretty much overwhelmed with cuteness today as I worked with my little guy on these homemade hand print Valentines. He has been really into my projects lately and begging to help me whenever I am crafting or cooking, so I decided it would be extra fun to do a craft made just for kids together. We made five different hand print Valentines for many of the special people in our lives. Daddy may or may not have gotten two. He really loves his daddy!
These Valentines are easy to put together, even if you are NOT an artist like me! Get your little one to supply the hands, then use markers to draw in a few details and you have a really special Valentine for Daddy, Mommy, Grandma, Grandpa, or any other special person who loves those little hands!!
I used some water based kids paint pots like these paints on Amazon. Make sure you have ample paper and baby wipes handy. Grab a paint brush to apply it to your child’s hand and some washable markers and you are set to go!
Here are the designs I came up with together with my little guy, which is your favorite?
