5 Minute Cinnamon Roll Heart Valentine’s Breakfast with @Pillsbury

YUM! 5 minute easy Heart Cinnamon Rolls made with @Pillsburyideas cinnamon rolls!

It is a week until Valentine’s Day and I am still bubbling over with ideas I want to share!  Today’s is perfect timing for planning a super sweet Valentine’s Day breakfast for your family.  This heart shaped cinnamon roll is quick, easy and pretty darn delicious!  If your family is anything like mine, you will win them over as soon as you say frosting.

Really I am not sure it could be any easier (unless you can get your Valentine to do it for you!)  You will need:

  • 2 Rolls of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
  • Pink or Red Food Coloring
  • Sprinkles – I would say optional, but really, are sprinkles ever optional?

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.  Meanwhile, pop open those rolls of cinnamon rolls and arrange them in a heart shape on your pan.  I used 12 around the edges and squished the last 4 into the middle.  I also flattened a few of the edges and made a little bit of a point on the roll on the bottom of the heart.  Then stick those puppies in the oven.  I cooked mine for about 22 minutes to make sure the middle rolls were done, but things cook differently everywhere, so keep an eye on them.

While the cinnamon rolls are cooking, dye the included icing pink or red.  I just added two drops of food coloring to each pot of frosting and mixed it up.

When the cinnamon rolls are done, give them one minute to cool, then spread that frosting right on with a knife and let your little ones help you add some festive Valentine’s sprinkles.
