Hi Pinning Mama readers! I put a twist on one of my go-to recipes to share with you today and it’s so good! It’s the perfect snack to set out while watching Football games on the weekends. It also makes a mean grilled cheese sandwich and is a great topping for burgers. It’s hard to go wrong with cheese or bacon but when you mix them together, it’s truly a winning combo!
I’m actually snacking on some while I type up this post. 🙂
We like it best with Ritz crackers, pita rounds (shown), or crinkle chips.
It’s a little on the addictive side. 🙂
Ok, how about I stop teasing you with pictures and we get to the recipe?
Ingredients:
- 6 oz bacon, diced and pan-fried until crispy
- 1 (8z) package cream cheese, at room temp
- 4 cups shredded cheese (I usually do half sharp cheddar and half jack cheese)
- 2/3 cup mayo
- 1 small jar diced pimentos, drained
- 1 medium jalapeño, de-seeded and finely diced
- 1 tsp Sriracha
- 1/4 tsp dried onion or onion powder
- 1/4 tsp dried garlic or garlic powder
- salt and pepper, to taste
Mix all ingredients until well combined in a stand-mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or with a hand-mixer.
Refrigerate for several hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend.
It’s ok if you can’t wait, it’s still awesome. It’s just even better the next day!
