Happy Independence day! In honor of the 4th of July I thought it was the perfect time to give you a little patriotic treat! An American flag cut file that you can add your own monogram to. This free download comes in SVG, PNG, DXF and Studio3 file types so you can use it with whatever version of software or cutting machine you use.
I absolutely love this time of year! Give me all the red, white and blue, stars and stripes, and patriotic tunes. I love it all! I went to a couple of stores this year trying to find something perfect to wear and I did find a super cute tank top at Target but I was a little too late and they didn’t have one left in my size. Or anything in red, white, or blue in my size.
So what is a Silhouette crafter to do when this happens? Well, whip up my own super cute monogramed flag cut file of course! I fooled around and made this file perfect for layering vinyl or HTV. {You can see my tutorial on layering HTV here}
I created the file in .Studio3, .SVG, .DXF and .PNG so you should be able to use it no matter whether you use Silhouette Studio basic edition, designer edition, or even Cricut!
When you open the file each part of the flag is separate so that you can cut them individually on the color vinyl you need. Then just line each one up and iron each one on to make a flag. The monogram is not included but I used the vine monogram on mine. You can use whatever your favorite monogram font is.

I cannot get the image to save as an SVG file. It saves as a zip and you cannot use zip on circuit.
Kimber says
Hi Lindsay- zip is a compressed file. You can uncompress it and you will find the svg in the folder. Happy crafting!
