This is the perfect appetizer to bring to any party or get together. This 4 ingredient Honey Pecan Baked Brie recipe is a sweet and salty treat that no one can resist!
Late this summer we had a get together at a friends house where we each brought an appetizer to share. My friend Crystal brought baked brie and we all couldn’t get enough! Even long after the party was over I couldn’t stop thinking about how good it was. It had that super creamy texture of brie, which was balanced by the breading it was wrapped in, but what I think made it insanely addicting was the sweet and salty thing it had going on.
Fast forward to the holidays and I knew this was the perfect thing to bring to all of my gatherings. What makes this so great {besides the sweet and salty combo} is that it is only 4 ingredients and only takes about 5 minutes to throw together – plus cook time. It looks and sounds super fancy, so no one has to know that you literally spent all of the blink of an eye making it. And get ready because everyone, I mean everyone, will want the recipe. I had to call my friend to get permission to post her recipe since the first party I brought it to I had 8 people ask me for the recipe! The next time I brought it people couldn’t believe I made this fancy thing and wanted to know if I thought they could do it – Of course!
So here is the super secret- no more recipe!
Honey Pecan Baked Brie
For the first step all you need is a store bought wheel of brie and a package of Pillsbury crescent rolls. If you can get the kind without the seams it is a big bonus, but if not, no worries- we can work with that too!
Roll the crescents out flat and press it out with your fingers to make sure it is fully spread and even. Lay your brie right in the middle and then pull the edges for the crescent dough up and over the brie to wrap it. Pat all of the edges with your fingers to seal the brie in the dough.
Get out a baking sheet and place a piece of parchment on it. Then flip the side with all of the crescent edges to the bottom and place the wheel of brie on your baking sheet smooth side up. Place it in the oven and bake at 350˚F for 20-25 minutes or until the cresecnts are cooked through and golden brown.
Once it is done baking let it sit for about 5-10 minutes to cool off a bit, then transfer it to your serving plate. Then drizzle the top with about half of the honey, sprinkle the pecans over the top, and drizzle evenly with the remaining honey.
That is it! 4 ingredients- almost no work and a fancy looking and amazing tasting appetizer to entertain with!
