Old School Blogging: The Crazy Five Edition

So tonight I am posting something that is so not me to post!  I talk about crafts, not about myself.  As a matter of fact, I probably wouldn’t do this for anyone EXCEPT Alison of Writing, Wishing who invited me.  So Alison, I dedicate this first personal post on The Pinning Mama blog to you….

Five Things I Have a Passion For

1. My Family- They are the reason I live life!

2. Photography- It is a very expensive passion…

3.  Cooking- Well maybe I should just say eating?

4. Business- It started in college and even though I am a SAHM turned blogger, I just can’t turn it off!

5. Blogging- my newest and most time consuming passion

Five Things I Would Like to do Before I Die

1. See my kids grow up, get married, have kids (In that order, no exceptions)

2. Be an entrepreneur

3. Eat at Mesa Grill (currently on hold with them for over an hour trying to get a reservation, ugh!)

4. See Garth Brooks in Concert

5. Know that I have loved God, My husband, my children and my friends the best I can.

Five Things I Say A Lot

1.  Is that a good idea/deal?  (to my 3 year old.  1 million times a day)

2.  Sure

3.  Hey

4. I love you ( I hope I say this 1 million and one times a day)

5.  Does that make sense?

Five Books And/ Or Magazines I Have Read Lately

3. Recreate and Decorate

4.  A Night Owl Blog

5.  Oh So Pinteresting

Five Favorite Movies (Maybe You’ve Seen Them Five Times?)

I have kids and live far from family so this is exceptionally hard!

1.  Nope nevermind…

2. I can’t think of any

3. Movies just aren’t my thing.

4. Sorry!

5. To Disappoint.

Five Places I Would Love To Travel To

Only with my husband of best friend by my side.

1.  Paris

2. Bora Bora

3.  The Maldives

4. Switzerland

5. Spain

Five People I Invite to do this Meme

1.  Jen at Pinkwhen

2. Felica at Familial Ramblings

3. Amy from Sews n Bows

4. Erin from Genius Venus

5. Wanda from Recreate and Decorate

If you want to play along, write a post of YOUR crazy five and visit Writing, Wishing to grab a button, and link up with Alison or Elaine! Linky is open until July 25.

I love that this is your first personal post and you’re doing it for me, so honored and flattered!
And you know what? I like learning more about you. I think Ashley needs to do one too :)
As for the movies, I haven’t watched any in years either. All of my favorites are old, heh.
Thanks for linking up with Elaine and I!

Anytime Alison! Glad we were able to give the blog a “personal touch” :). Ash has had a pretty busy week, but I am sure you will get to know more about her sooner or later :) For now a woman of mystery haha!

I have a bunch of the same answers!! My love of cooking is definitely fueled by my love for eating! Enjoyed learning more about you! Jen from PinkWhen told me about you…I’ve been trying to stop in here and there!

Well then we should definitely be friends! I think I have that exact line about eating on our about me page! I will have to check out your blog when I get to a computer later!

Thanks gor stopping by Katie! Isn’t it surprisingly hard to answer simple questions when you actually sit down and try to do it!?

I had the exact same first “Thing I want to do before I die”. I was worried it would come across as morbid…so glad that was first in mind for someone else! Your list of movies was hilarious…it took me three days to figure out what to put there because I mostly watch Monsters, Inc. and Octonauts these days.

Well if the question has the word die in it, I guess you just have to go for it right?! And with the movies I just figured who really wanted to know movies that took me that long to think of. Plus I have such a short attention span, there is no way I could come back to it DAYS later haha!

It’s so cool that this was your first personal post. It was really fun to do, right? I loved your movie list. My younger son (8) is so not interested in movies and we had to learn to accept that. I’m showing him this post so he knows he isn’t alone! :)
