I’ve always had a hard time buying gifts for religious events and graduations. I don’t want something too Hallmarky, but I also don’t want something that has zero religious sentiment. In this post for a mod podged wooden sign you’ll see a tutorial for a wonderful baptism gift. I also give other ideas for religious type gifts, to include this crib cross. What do you get though for the Godmother? You’ve hopefully spent some time picking out the perfect people to be the ones that will always be there for your kiddo when you can’t, right? So, of course you want to give them something to say thank you in advance….because it is inevitable that your little one will grow up and not want to talk to you about something personal, but will go to their Godmother/father. You could buy a cute personalized frame from Etsy and that would be cherished, I am sure! Or you could get a different thoughtful gift that is just slightly more unique….
This bowl from Clarey Clayworks was given to me when I became a Godmother to my sweet little Godson, Brax. Isn’t it the cutest gift? I think it is actually meant more for a candle or as a soap dish, as shown in the shops pics, but I love using mine as a ring bowl next to my sink. I see it everyday sitting there and I’m always reminded of how special my “job” is.
You should totally check out the shop because she has other unique bowls – First Communion, Confirmation etc. If you aren’t the religious type, that’s ok because you can get a personalized bowl from Clarey Clay Works! Wouldn’t it be cute for Mother’s Day to have “mother” on a bowl? Other ideas for a dish are sister, best friend, grandma, love, happy or a special date – your wedding date would be cute if you are using it as a ring bowl! This could even be a wedding shower gift! The options are endless.
If you had one of these bowls what would you use it for? Rings? A pretty candle? Or a soap dish?

I love it! I’d use it for rings/earrings. A catch all on the bathroom counter. 😉

I think that is a great use! Corralling jewelry is a must for me or else I would never keep track of it!

Its like you read my mind! You seem to grasp so much approximately this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you simply can do with a few p.c.
to force the message home a bit, however other than that, this is great blog.
An excellent read. I’ll certainly be back.
