When I started my little website 18 months ago, I poured myself into it. Every ounce of creative energy, every bit of business and marketing I had picked up over my corporate career, and a lot of hard work and late nights were poured into it. I had no idea if anyone would read it, but have been incredibly blessed and humbled with the growth I have seen over the past year and a half! Last month alone my blog was read almost half a million times! It is a little crazy- but with all of the success I have had, and lessons I have learned I thought it was a great time to expand a little and add to The Pinning Mama team!
I searched and read, and browsed, and researched, and finally hand picked four ladies who graciously agreed to become contributors to The Pinning Mama. I am so excited to introduce these incredibly talented and dynamic group of women to you today! They will each be contributing one post each month here and also each run brilliant blogs of their own. My hope is that you can get a little taste of the amazing creativity and talent they offer here and you will want to go check them out regularly at their home blogs. Also, don’t forget to follow them on Social Media to keep up with their latest endeavors!
So without further adieu-

The Sum of Their Stories
Hi, I’m Julie. I’ve enjoyed all sorts of crafts for as long as I can remember. Growing up I was surrounded by creative woman who taught and encouraged me. They shared their ideas and skills, unpicked my mistakes, showed me techniques and never made me few stupid when things didn’t go well. My blog, Sum of their Stories, is a sort of tribute to them, the name is based on a line from a beautiful poem. I just like to encourage anyone to have a go at making something and hope they enjoy being creative as much as I do.

Home. Made. Interest.
We’re Kat & Melinda, best friends who love to create! Whether it is a crafty Pinterest project, hosting a party, home decorating or trying out a new recipe, we just enjoy coming up with ideas and seeing if we can make them happen. We started having craft nights a few years ago, getting together weekly to work on our latest Pinterest -inspired project, and we decided to start a blog to share our creations. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we fail, but we always have fun :).
