Fire-Free Fireworks is such a fun activity to do with your kids gearing up for the 4th of July! All you need is a curious kiddo and a few supplies.

Gather:
- Milk
- Food coloring in various colors (liquid kind)
- dish soap
- q-tips.
See the video below for exactly what we did. It is super simple.
- Pour the milk in a shallow dish.
- Add different colors of food coloring to different parts of the milk. Your kids will notice that the colors stay put when added.
- Put a few drops of soap in the mixture and use the q-tips to spread it around. Now your kids will see the colors dance!
A great book to read along with this craft is It Looked Like Spilt Milk by Charles Shaw. Perfect ending to a fun activity with your kids!

Sorry… whoever originally pinned it must have pinned the image wrong. That doesn’t sound like a tutorial on my site. You can look on the photo for a watermark and see if you can find it that way.
