Homemade Tzatziki Sauce
This homemade Tzatziki Sauce is can be used as an appetizer, dip, or condiment. It is perfect for dolloping on top of your favorite Mediterranean dishes like gyros, pitas, greek nachos, etc, and is just as great set out in a bowl to dip pita chips or veggies in.

- 1 cucumber grated
- 2 cups plain greek yogurt
- 3 cloves garlic pressed
- 1 1/2 tbsp fresh dill minced
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
Grate the cucumber using a box grater or the grating attachment of a food processor. Save the grated cucumber and discard any excess juice.
Mix all ingredients together until they are well combined.
Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled as a dip or condiment.
