Cut your french bread loaf in half. Spread a thin layer of bbq sauce and a sprinkle of cheese on each half.
Mix the remaining bbq sauce with the shredded chicken and spread the mixture evenly between the two loaves. Spread the cheese evenly over the two halves and sprinkle the red onion on top.
Bake at 425˚ F for 10-12 minutes.
Sprinkle the cilantro on top. Slice and serve hot!
