Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps

Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps are quick and easy to make. These tacos are full of flavor and super healthy.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb lean ground turkey
  • 8 oz tomato sauce (1 can)
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 head butter lettuce

Instructions

  • Sauté the meat in a large skillet over medium high heat, breaking up the meat and stirring, until no longer pink. Drain any excess liquid and return to the burner.
  • Add tomato sauce, tomato paste and seasoning and continue to cook stirring regularly until the liquid has mostly evaporated and the meat is coated in the tomato and seasoning.
  • Core and wash the butter lettuce. Remove the leaves and pat dry.  Scoop a spoonful of meat into each lettuce leaf and top as desired.
