DIY Kid’s Coloring Page Windsock Craft. Keep the kids busy (for a little while anyway) with this fun summer craft!
I love that Summer means no alarm-setting, no lunch packing, no homework, and even no getting dressed if we don’t feel like it! It also means keeping the kids busy. I’m quite partial to the crafts that don’t make a giant mess. This is one of those crafts (yay)!
Here are the supplies you’ll need to make this easy and adorable craft:
- Cardstock
- Free Coloring Page Printable (click to download)
- Crayons, Colored Pencils, or Markers
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- String
- Crepe paper
- Tape
- Stapler
I started by designing a Summer-themed coloring page.
Simply print and gather your supplies while you let the kiddos color!
After coloring, cut the two strips on the dotted lines and glue to the cardstock. I like to use a rubber scraper to smooth it down so the oils from your skin don’t smear the coloring.
Next, roll into a tube and staple as shown below.
Add two hole punches and tie on string at the top to hang it. Then, tape on a few crepe paper tails in fun colors.
And that’s it!
Happy crafting!
