A simple way to make a custom Easter basket for your little one plus a free Easter Bunny cut file for your Silhouette CAMEO or Portrait.
I have been wanting custom Easter baskets for my kiddos for awhile. I have seen several that I really love and almost bought these adorable monogrammed baskets a couple of months ago, but when it comes down to it, I just can’t spend that much on a basket that gets brought out once a year. So of course, the solution was the same as usual…. I will just make one!
I found these fun buckets at Target for only $8 each, and they were on sale at the time for buy one get one half off so it was a great deal. I dressed them up with a simple vinyl decal I cut using my Silhouette CAMEO. Since I love to share, I have the Easter Bunny Silhouette cut file for you for FREE at the bottom of the post.
To make your own bucket, just download the cut file, then open it in Silhouette Studio. Size it to fit on your bucket and type your child’s name below the rabbit. The font I used for the bucket is KG Strawberry Limeaide.
Cut the design on to vinyl using the factory settings for Silhouette Vinyl. Remove the design from the machine and weed the extra vinyl off of the design. Use transfer tape to move the design from the paper onto your bucket making sure the text is lined straight with the bottom of the bucket.
Last use a pom pom and some craft glue to adhere the bunny tail and let it dry.
That is all there is to making a custom Easter basket for your little one. It is quick, easy and affordable, and with the vinyl you can customize however you want. My kids talked all day about how excited they were to take them out and find their eggs!

Oh I think the pom pom just really gives an amazing finishing touch. This is a greta idea to keep in mind for party bags.. it could be any little animal or image that fits the theme, and then find a cute embellishment to glue on. Love it!
